1. ReadOff and its operator
These terms cover use of ReadOff, operated by SYBEEL GAMES UNIP LDA, represented by Amin Rezaee. The company’s registered details are on our contact page. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
2. What the service does
ReadOff extracts text from photos and converts reviewed or pasted text into AI-generated audio. You can arrange up to 10 images per batch, edit the extracted text, choose a voice, listen, and download generated audio. Recognition can contain errors, especially with blurred photos, curved pages, diagrams, or complex layouts. Review the text before generating a reading.
Generated recordings and document text are temporary in your browser session. Download audio you want to keep. Closing or refreshing the page can discard the current reading. Account balances persist independently of the reading session.
3. Accounts and permitted use
Keep your sign-in details private and provide an email address you control. Upload only material you have permission or a lawful right to process. Do not upload unlawful content, impersonate others, bypass limits, automate abusive requests, or interfere with other users. We may restrict activity that threatens service security or breaches these terms; contact support if you believe a restriction is mistaken.
4. Packs, payment, and delivery
Essential costs US$5 for 45,000 voice characters; Plus costs US$9 for 100,000 voice characters, before applicable taxes. Checkout shows the final currency, tax, and total before payment. Packs are one-time purchases, without an automatic subscription or renewal.
Stripe Managed Payments processes payment, with Link as merchant of record under the terms shown at checkout. Purchased characters are added to your signed-in account once payment is confirmed. If confirmation is delayed, do not purchase again; contact support with your receipt.
Character balances are used across readings. Each paid reading accepts up to 25,000 characters. Generating a new voice for the same text creates a new reading and uses characters again. Replaying or downloading already generated audio in the current session uses no additional voice characters. Free trials have separate limits; scanning is also subject to service capacity and abuse-prevention limits.
5. Failed readings and availability
Characters are reserved when generation is accepted. If generation fails or the connection closes before the server completes the audio response, the reserved voice characters are restored automatically. An interrupted server process leaves a recoverable reservation; after its 20-minute recovery window, opening your account or refreshing its balance restores it. Your activity shows restored characters. If a problem occurs after the server completes its response, or credits still appear incorrect, contact support@readoff.app with the approximate time and character amount so we can investigate and correct an erroneous debit where appropriate. Do not send the document itself unless support requests it and you are comfortable sharing it.
Processing times vary with text length and photo quality. Temporary interruptions may occur. If a paid service is not supplied as required, your statutory remedies and the refund policy apply.
6. Cancellation and refunds
Read the refund and cancellation policy before buying. We do not treat account creation, payment, or clicking Read aloud as a blanket waiver of consumer withdrawal rights. Any legally effective exception requires the conditions specified by applicable law.
7. Privacy and changes
Our privacy notice explains processing of account details, images, text, and payments. We may update the service and terms prospectively; material changes affecting existing purchases will be communicated where required and will not remove accrued statutory rights.
8. Law and questions
Portuguese law applies, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections available in their country of habitual residence or applicable rights concerning courts and dispute resolution. Contact support@readoff.app with questions or complaints.
